These works made for “kiseki” project. Group exhibition that celebrated the hidden statue was open to the public at Kanbodai-temple, Shimagahara, Mie prefecture.
Thought about a hidden eleven faces Kannon, I went on pilgrimage to other temples around Kinki region. On the way to temples, I came across symbolic images of piety from nature.

三重県伊賀市島ヶ原の観菩提寺秘仏公開に合わせたプロジェクト「kiseki」に参加して制作。
観菩提寺の秘仏に思いを馳せながら近畿一円の十一面観音を巡礼し、訪ねた寺院やその道行きで撮った写真とめぐり合わせた自然の造形物を、信心することの象徴に見立て、インスタレーションとして制作した作品。
